Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher could be offered first-team
football by Middlesbrough, according to reports in the North-East.
The Evening Gazette claims that Boro boss Gareth Southgate is ready to move
for the Scotland international, who has played only 28 minutes of Premier
League football for United this season.
Middlesbrough have a problem with the right side of their midfield after
selling James Morrison to West Brom. George Boateng played there on Sunday
against Newcastle.
They have already been linked with a move for Kevin Nolan, who is also
thought to be a £5million target for Everton
