German champions Stuttgart have confirmed that they are to sell Jon Dahl
Tomasson to Villarreal.
The Danish striker enjoyed a successful loan spell at the Spanish club in
January and it has come as no surprise that Villarreal are eager to make his
stay permanent.
Tomasson signed for Stuttgart in 2005 from Milan but his stay in Germany
proved less than productive, as he failed to ever find his best form.
Details of the deal have yet to be disclosed but Stuttgart manager Horst
Heldt believes Tomasson's departure is the best solution for all parties.
"This transfer is the best solution for everyone involved," confirmed Heldt.
